I'm still feeling the red eye flight from yesterday morning, it will take a few days for me to completely get over that.
The end of the trip went well. Sailing was fun, it was overcast while we were out and I forgot about sunscreen and got a little toasted, moisturizer is helping. Surfing was interesting, there were decent waves for an experienced surfer but none for a beginner. I spent most of my time paddling around looking for swells. I caught two waves, the first I rode the board on my belly. On the second I was too far forward as I pushed up, the nose dug into the water and I flipped forward. Jeremy caught four or five waves while we were out. We all went to dinner afterwards and Jeremy dropped off Andrew and myself at the airport. After work yesterday I took a four hour nap and slept about five hours after dinner.
Today I went with Alex, my manager, to lunch. He asked if I would be interested in working for an airline after graduation. I don't know and I told him that. I enjoy the work I do here and I am attached to this place. Leaving Friday knowing it's my last day will be difficult. It's made me think some more about what I want to do. It will be a difficult choice among several appealing options, but as Alex told me, life is a journey not a destination.
